How long does it take to get dental implants?
Dental implants are a surgical treatment that takes place over a number of months, generally between six to eight months. Our dentist will make a treatment plan that is specialized to what your smile needs and will discuss with you the entire process. It begins with surgically implanting new tooth roots, made from small metal posts, into your jawbone. Your gums are then allowed to fully heal, which also provides time for the bone and metal post to fuse together. Then, Dr. Moody is able to make crowns, bridges, and dentures to be fitted atop your new tooth roots.
